New! Zeiss Victory Binoculars
New Zeiss technology allows hunters, shooters, birders, boaters, and outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy cleaner, clearer viewing, less eye strain, and less weight. What makes truly great binoculars? Most would say ruggedness, lightweight construction, and a clear, sharp image. Zeiss’ new Victory series binoculars feature all this and more. Victory binoculars have Zeiss’ proprietary fully multi-coated lenses for exceptional twilight performance, are waterproof and shock-resistant, are nitrogen filled and guaranteed not to fog, plus, they feature Zeiss’ lifetime transferable warranty. In addition to this, Zeiss Victory binoculars feature a new Zeiss Advanced Optics System (AOS), optics technology at its finest. The Zeiss Advanced Optics System serves to enhance optical performance while reducing binocular weight. AOS provides maximum color balance throughout the entire field of view, focusing light to produce a sharp, clear, bright image. The Zeiss Advanced Optics System also uses superior glass produced by Schott Glaswerke, a Zeiss Foundation company. Most binocular glass contains lead and arsenic. These components add weight and mass to the binocular and are unfriendly to the environment. Zeiss Victory binoculars feature glass that is lead and arsenic free, resulting in thinner, lighter weight, less bulky optics systems, with greater image quality. Zeiss Victory binoculars feature Abbe-Koenig erector (roof) prisms, a Zeiss technology, which enhances light transmission and provides optimal twilight performance. The Zeiss Abbe-Koenig prism has twice the surface area and volume, and transmits 6-7% more light than the Pechan prism commonly used in other binoculars. Zeiss Victory binoculars are available in four models. Foremost is the 10 x 40 mm with an excellent combination of field of view and vision performance, the 8 x 40 mm for wide field of view, plus the 10 x 56 mm and 8 x 56 mm which transmit extra light to permit viewing into the darkest recesses of twilight. All Victory models feature Zeiss full multi-coating on all glass-to-air surfaces. Additionally, the roof surfaces in Abbe-Koenig prisms have Zeiss multi-layer phase coating to eliminate light aberrations and color fringing. Each Zeiss Victory binocular features a new four-element Superachromat objective lens system that enhances color fidelity and prevents color fringes in the sight picture. Victory binoculars boast a patented integrated focusing system and diopter adjustment that features a contact (clickstop) zero easily used with gloves. Victory 10 x 40 and 8 x 40 models have slanted eyecups to shield unwanted light from peripheral vision. They twist and lock to provide full field of view to eyeglass wearers, and instant adjustment back and forth between eyeglass and non-eyeglass wearers. Victory 10 x 56 and 8 x 56 binoculars feature push-pull eyecups. A rain guard eyepiece cover comes standard with both the Victory 8 x 56 and 10 x 56 for optimum protection against rain and dust. Victory binoculars are nitrogen filled and guaranteed to be truly waterproof, dustproof, and fog-proof. Plus, Victory binoculars are backed by Zeiss’ lifetime transferable warranty. They come with a leather pouch and offer an optional clip-on tripod adapter (1/4 or 1/8” threads). Victory binoculars retail beginning at $1,200.00.
